At the 7th Symposium on Atmospheric Ozone Pollution Prevention and Control, held in Hefei from April 11 to 13, 2025, Professor Lyu was appointed as a standing committee member of the Ozone Pollution Control Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences. His appointment will last from April 2025 to April 2029.
Established in 2018, the Ozone Pollution Control Professional Committee is supported by the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at Peking University. The committee aims to create a public platform for academic exchange, technological innovation, scientific services, discipline development, education and training, and science popularization for researchers, managers, and technicians in the field of ozone pollution control. Through these initiatives, the committee seeks to collectively advance the prevention and control of urban and regional atmospheric ozone pollution in China, transitioning efforts from scientific research to practical implementation.
